August, 2020

Discover the history of the town of Adams, Massachusetts, through this interactive StoryMap generated by Lisa Benvenuti. The StoryMap combines maps, photos and information, primarily from the Adams Historical Society Archives. It is a work in progress, so check back often for updates.

Lisa was born in Adams, and moved away when she was a child. After many visits through the years, she feels that Adams is her second home. She has a Master's degree in GIS (Geographic Information Systems), and has been employed at the Center for Spatial Studies at the University of Redlands in Redlands, CA for more than twenty years. In addition to working on several large federally funded grants, Lisa provides technical and instructional support to faculty and students using spatial technology and mapping.
